Change the one-hour interval of Time Machine backups. You can change the interval or decide to make daily, weekly and monthly backups.

TimeMachineEditor does not modify existing system files at all. Instead it handles its own scheduling to trigger Time Machine backups when you want them to occur.

What is new in this release:

- You can now specify a time range during which backups should not occur.

What is new in version 4.4:

- You can now specify a time range during which backups should not occur.

What is new in version 4.3.2:

- Improve scheduling when using the "Calendar Intervals" mode.

What is new in version 4.3:

  • When Inactive: may backup several times per-day as long as the appropriate criteria of inactivity are met.
  • Interval, every _ hours: actual backup times may differ a bit from the interval as it will try to backup at the most appropriate times, but the interval will be respected on average.
  • Interval, every _ days: will backup when you are not actively using the machine once the specified number of days have passed since the previous backup.
  • Calendar Intervals: this is the one to use if you need backups to occur at precise times, otherwise you'd be better off with one of the other modes of operation.

What is new in version 4.2.1:

  • Improved accessibility (VoiceOver).

What is new in version 4.1:
