This system uses natural language according to its direct assignment - for knowledge representation and management. It implements the following major steps of language processing: dictionary, morphological analyzer, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and behavior. The user interface makes it possible to enter phrases in the text editor. Then the system runs language processor, which will generate response and output it into the other windows. The virtual machine is a convenient way to implement several common tasks. TCP/IP networking is supported too. This turns the language of NB into the Internet protocol for natural language communication. NB is a knowledge base for individual use. What kind of individuals? Humans only? It's time to bring personality to machines. Robotics Sandbox is a simple development environment where you can design intelligent control applications. For this purpose, the language of NB provides complete support of traditional programming techniques including both procedural and declarative or rule-based features. Using the NB virtual machine, you can emulate robotics hardware and even physics of manipulated objects. The method of connecting your program to a real robot is also described.
