Skipper is a modern modelling tool allowing to export ORM definitions from project visual schema. Instead of manual writing user works directly in the model edited through intuitive graphical interface. Export can be repeated any time when changes in the model are done.
Thanks to standardized export format, the definitions are in accordance to all framework specific rules and are immediately ready to use. User can also add any template he wants and customize the export to perfectly fit his needs.
Besides export, Skipper supports also project import, so any older or unknown project can be transferred into visual schema and then edited in graphical way.
Skipper supports ORM frameworks Doctrine, Doctrine 2, Propel and CakePHP. Exported formats are XML, YML and PHP annotations. All framework specific options like behaviors, inheritance, I18N or other features are available to be edited.
Skipper is fully multiplatform and runs on all common operating systems: Windows, OS X (Mac OS) and Linux.
